Year 6 children had a super time on their joint residential at Hagg Farm with Bleasby School.
Miranda from the Halle Orchestra came to do a workshop with the trumpet. She is very talented - we are looking forward to going to see the Halle Orchestra at the Nottingham Royal Concert Hall on Friday.
Well done to our super Y6 children - what a treat! The whole school had an ice-cream or a lolly. Yhank you so much to our wonderful PTFA for organising.

We made green ribbon rosettes in House groups today.
We sang Christmas carols, our Nativity songs from our production and played instruments to entertain our Grandmas and Grandads, while they enjoyed a mince pie and a hot drink.
We enjoyed a lovely whole school visit to Newark Palace Theatre to watch their production of Aladdin. We loved their dancing, costumes and funny jokes!
On Christmas Craft day, we designed and made Christmas decorations, using a range of recycled materials.
We were very excited to have snowfall overnight and couldn't wait to make snowballs, build snowmen and make snow angels.
Two children from our Head Team took part in a church service on Sunday 10th November. They laid a wreath during the service to remember the fallen. On Monday 11th November, another two children from the Head Team attended the service at the Bomber Memorial on School Lane. They recited the poem, 'In Flanders Fields'.
Oak children delivered a poignant Remembrance Service to the whole school.
Our Key Stage 2 Football team played a friendly against Farnsfield St. Michael's School. The children all demonstrated excellent teamwork skills - the match finished 0-0.
