Maple had a thrilling experience when they had a visit from Phileas Fogg!
We started the day being Howard Carters, Lady Evelyns and the Boys involved with the discovery of King Tutankhamun’s Tomb. We experienced the pressure to find the tomb, how the tomb was found and what it must have felt like seeing the hoard for the first time.
We looked at what the Egyptian’s wore, how they lived and how they died. We all took part in embalming, tomb dressing, wailing, and a ceremony to lay the person to rest.
We really enjoyed the workshop and learnt so much about the Ancient Egyptians.
Maple Class were wonderful during Sports Day 2023
The Year 2's and 3's had a great time getting to know each other and playing fun games.
After learning about why cities are built near rivers, we researched, designed and made skyscrapers out of paper.
We had a fantastic day at Mablethorpe. We took our buckets and spades and made sandcastles, played football, had a paddle in the sea and ate an ice cream.
We have been learning about the upper, middle and lower course of a river. We then made their features out of lego which include waterfalls, meanders and oxbow lakes.
We each have made a watch which we can use to help us as we are learning to tell the time.
This term we are learning about rivers.
Maple Class enjoyed worship and many Easter activities
We've been enjoying taking our books outside and reading in the bell tent.
Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club came into school last week and taught us all cricket skills. We had a great time.
