Today we have been using cubes to measure how heavy and light things around our classroom are. It has been great fun counting the cubes and watching the scales balance.
Here are our models made after we studied a famous painting by Thomas Gainsborough called Mr and Mrs Smith. Mr and Mrs Smith may have lived at Norwood Park if they had come from Nottinghamshire.

Today we had a visit from people working in hospital to teach us what it is like for children visiting.

Our topic this term has been deciding if our grandparents had more fun playing traditional games than we do today using ipads. Here we are playing Ludo and snakes and ladders. We also played hopscotch, skipping games, marbles, and we sang traditional songs like 'Oranges and Lemons'. We had great fun.
